As I age, I find the fatigue hits more often and seems stronger. What I do, especially if I had a poor night's sleep is to go back to bed a half hour or so after I get up (which is early---about 5:15 AM). I then sleep for about a half hour or 45 minutes longer. This seems to help me get somewhat of a balance back.
(BTW, I get up early with my husband. It does give me a jump on the day, and I get a few errands done early, though my eyes might not be quite open yet). :)
Going to bed early (I try to get there by 9PM) helps, too. Although, lately the insomnia is hitting, thanks in part to an attention-seeking dog barking (working on that part).
Have you had your blood checked? Maybe your iron is a little low.
I still struggle with all-day fatigue, but by resting (not sleeping) for about 15 minutes in the afternoon (I generally pray during this time), it gives me a little boost. But I think I'll probably continue to be somewhat tired all day. Pacing is helpful, though not a "cure."
Hope things are better soon!!
