Im sure this question has been posted before, but here goes. If you were successful in collecting disability, what did you do? I don't really want to, but I feel I should prepare myself now, rather than later when things get even harder. I'm doing the best I can, but expenses go up every year. Just the simplest thing, like getting a new license plate, would be a day's work wages for some.
I notice I'm suffering from more anxiety and mood changes as I feel my nerves wearing away. I'll be working only 10 hours a week come fall and I really love what I do. I'm afraid to do any more as the fatigue from doing things and getting up early shreds my ability to function.
dont get me wrong. I'd prefer to work. And await the magic cure. But when I push too hard, all heck breaks loose, and the newer symptoms like worse fatigue, irritability, anxiety, confusion , and sensitivity to stimuli make it next to impossible. This is kind of scary. Due to the recent move and changes, I am over stimulated, I can tell. I want to live alone, but can't afford to right now. I've applied and been approved for medicaid and food stamps. It's a start. I'm trying to get an apt at Cleveland clinic, but when you are on medicaid, they "call you back" to make an apt. I haven't heard....
I notice when I don't push too hard, I'm an overall happier person.
