My husband surprised me 3 weeks ago with a new golden retriever puppy! Our older one has been slowing down a bit. We had discussed how a companion might perk her up a bit. Well, it has, but I am exhausted yeah
But she is so cute and alhough a lot of work, a great addition to our family.

How wonderful! I love puppies. I don't think I could ever be without a dog. They give you so much love plus make you get up and go for a walk.

Here is a funny story about my pup that just happened. I adopted my puppy three years ago and she turned out to be hyperactive. I didn't know dogs could be hyper but she surely is. She still gets into everything so she can't be left alone unless she is in a crate.

Because she is still into everything and my daughter didn't want her stuck in a crate nearly all day long when I went on vacation, she took her to work for three weeks while I was on vacation. One day she wanted to step outside for a minute without Michaela so she set up the baby gate and took a much needed break for a few minutes. When she came back in, Michaela had jumped up on her desk chair and then got on her desk and ate a $300 check! tongue That's Michaela! But I wouldn't trade her for anything. Never a boring moment for me and she keeps me moving which helps my Fibro.

A baby!! Give her and older pup a scratch for me. I want one. I want a corgi.

That's cute, Sherrine. Well, not in the moment of course, but now. I used to spread out my papors to grade, and my cats would sniff,move them around and lie down on certain ones. I always used to tell classes that the ones my cats graded got 'A's.

Probably people who don't have dogs won't see the humor but my older golden eats everything! My husband's hearing aid was yummy but cost us thousands$$$$. Shouldn't have left it on the end table. The vet said give her a tablespoon of peroxide and it will come up in minutes.

Well, it did along with a quarter, dime and some nickels. Like a change machine😃. Life is going to be interesting for us I am sure.

Think of all the exercise I am going to get. I won't have time to think about fibro.

LOL Puppylover! Michaela must have some Golden in her. She was munching on the ear mold of my hearing aid I saved the aid and half the mold. Yep! I'm wearing one aid with half an ear mold. LOL

I have a neighbor who had a Golden and she would take her to garage sales in the neighborhood. Inevitabally, the dog would find a goody it wanted and I'd see them heading back home with the Golden carrying her treasure in her mouth. Soooo cute!

Awe, they are so fun! We have cats because we rent and can't have dogs. We got a kitten in June that thinks he is a dog. LOL. He likes to lay in the middle of whatever we are doing also. And he eats the corners off the girls' homework all the time.

I've got a very hyper cat. He's a Lavender Siamese. Hair is pure white with pale lavender markings on his face. He races all over the house, jumps out and attacks my toes, chases any bug that gets inside, and randomly chews on things.
He thinks if you're eating he needs half of it, especially if it's meat. He's also a talker like all Siamese cats. He keeps me entertained.
