Countingstars...can I talk to you about
what you have learned about
inflammation? How did you figure out which foods caused inflammation? If you wouldn't mind, could you email me?
[email protected]Thank you!

Myself 09 and Tigertails,
I will respond to you both here since Sherrine closed down the other post. Hope you find it.
I do not have IBD or arthritis. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and that is why I post here in the fibro forum. While fibro hasn't been linked to inflammation officially, my MD finds that if you have inflammation from food sensitivities it tends to increase weight and pain among other things. This is why I said that after I found and eliminated food sensitivities and allergies not only did I lose weight, but the pain related to fibromyalgia also drastically decreased. I notice right away and for about a week later any time I eat something I am sensitive to, especially gluten foods. I had gluten several days ago and I am paying for it currently in pain.

My MD addressed inflammation solely by the elimination diet and adding fish oil supplements. The fish oil was at a dose of 2-3g a day either all together or split up. She also said that the supplements were unnecessary if I were to consume fatty fish like salmon 2 times a week.
