I'm So Sad...

We had to put my sweet male kitty, Roary, to sleep yesterday. He had been sick for several weeks but he was starting to improve. He seemed fine Friday night but yesterday morning I found him nearly gone. We took him to the vet and he didn't even have any blood pressure.

He's not suffering now but I sure am. He was my handsome boy and was around me a lot. My other kitty (Roary's mom) and my dog keep looking for Roary. It's so sad. Of course the stress over this has left me in a world of hurt but I know the pain will subside soon. Just wanted to let you guys know...just in case I'm not here as much over the next couple of days.

I am so sorry Sherrine. I've have lost several beloved pets over the years and it never gets easier.

You made the right decision to help your sweetie go to the other side. He isn't suffering and would probably thank you if he could.

I know you will feel his lost for quite some time.

So very sorry to hear that, Sherrine. We get so attached to our little furry friends, and it's heartbreaking to lose them.

I hope you'll hold on to your happy memories with Roary. Sending you a hug and some prayers.

I am so sorry Sherrine. We had to put my boyfriend's kitty down earlier this year and I still miss him every time I go over there to stay. ((Hugs))

I'm so very sorry about your little pal. I've lost pets too it really really hurts. I lost a wonderful loving dog a few years ago and promptly got another beagle who is just as loving and helps me miss Maggie less.

Pets help us bear up under all this pain we have.

Thank you everyone. It has been hard because Roary suffered in the end. I would never let my pets suffer but it happened anyway and trying to get those images out of my mind is difficult. He was fine the night before but something happened in the middle of the night to him. We will never know what really happened but he isn't suffering now.

I still have Roary's mother, Mama, and my little dog, Michaela. Michaela is still searching the house for Roary since they really liked each other. It's so sad.

Thank you again. Your kind words have helped me and I thank each of you for that.
