I've also been dealing with lots of leg pain at night, what I think is restless legs, and just odd neuro 'stuff' going on with my legs and feet (I also have a separate neuro condition).
What is helping me (usually) is to take a large folded quilt and put it at the foot end of the bed, and on top of that, a bed pillow. I put my feet on that, and put a small (decorative type) pillow between my knees. It helps even more to put another small pillow on the bed to rest my calves on.
It's a little tricky to get used to (still working on that, somewhat), but my legs felt so much better, both overnight and in the morning.
