Thank you your reply. Yes I have been going through this for over 25 years. I have been tested for autoimmune diseases-all negative. I have been on multiple meds including celebrex, cymbalta, muscle relaxers and recently Tramadol, which takes the edge off but no real relief. The problem with meds for me, if there is a side affect, I will probably get it. I don't like meds that make me feel more fatigued than I already am.
I have been able to manage flare ups until the bronchitis and hip pain started 2 years ago. I'm not sure if the steroids have caused this flare but I haven't been able to get that 'down time' I usually get to give my body a break. I also have severe flares of costochondritis. The thought of Lymes never occurred to me until my husband reminded me of the bite. Then I did a little online research and thought, wow, this sounds like me.
I am going to see my daughter graduate this weekend no matter what. I will contact my rheumy next week and ask about further testing. Thanks, again
