My DIL bought me a pair of Go Walk Skechers thinking the thick gel insoles would help my back pain. I walked around the house in them for about ten minutes and thought my feet would never stop cramping. Waited a few days, tried it again and this time my calves seized up. There was nothing to do but return them. As I was stuffing the tissue paper back in the toes, I suddenly realized I had not removed the hard molded cardboard that was secured to the insole. I seriously don't even know how I crammed my feet into that tight space...

Well, I was wanting to turn at a stop sign and I shifted my car into park! What's so bad is my gear shift is on the floor not on the steering wheel. LOL!

I hope your feet are better too. Can you wear the shoes comfortably now? They sound comfy...without the cardboard inserts.

I love my skechers.

Mostly I wear my sneakers to walk for exercise but for times when you don't think you're going to be walking much, and you do, they are great.

I chuckled about your leaving the cardboard in. I once bought groceries and you drive up and they load them in the car for you, only I got to the parking lot and drove home! It was 2 towns over so I had to return for the groceries. They had put them in the huge refrigerator they have and said that happens from time to time.

You just have to laugh about it and move on.

I'm old now too so my kids have a field day laughing at the stuff I do.
