New Here

I have been dx with mps/fms since 96; only lord knows how long I have had it. I have some new symptoms and are not sure if related: my rTeD eye start twitching for no apparent reason. I get severe hot flashes followed by hair raising chills. Does anyone else suffer from these... Oh yes various parts of my body have started having muscle spasms. I am 60 and live in fl

Hi, Mamma, and welcome! Yes, we get twitches, hot flashes, chills. Etc. Calcium and magnesium do help with this. Also, potassium helps with cramping and spasms. I use magnesium malate to help with this. I also take a small amount of a muscle relaxer called Robaxin and this has helped a lot with the pain too.

Be sure to check out Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are good links about fibro and you can learn a lot there.
