Can we talk the odd sensations?

I'm currently on waiting list to be seen for dx.

I'm getting terrible burning pain head ache in a patch on my scalp. My floaters are increasing and my left check twitches. On top of my other symptoms. Does anyone experience stuff like this?

What odd symptoms do you all experience daily?

I think the weirdest things that happen to me are...I feel like a bug is walking on me, I get cold spots and spots on my butt that feel like I sat in water. I also feel like water is running down my leg. Of course none of these things are really happening. I don't get these daily either. I also get some twitching.

Doctors are now thinking fibro affects our nerves and these sensations make more sense that way. If you haven't already, read Fibro 101. In there is an interview with Dr. Clauw and he explains this quite well.

I also get the feeling that a bug is walking on me. Usually my feet or legs. Sometimes the top of my head. I get twitchy eyes too.

Glad you are on the list to be seen. You have come to a great place for info. We all get different symptoms. It helps to hear that you are not alone with these weird feelings.

I get a burning pain on my scalp, too, occasionally. My doctor said pain in that area (or 'hair pain') is usually nerve pain. Neurontin (gabapentin) generally helps me with it.

Yesterday I had what seemed like restless toes! I dislike taking meds but finally took 1/2 of a Flexeril. Relief!

Good that you're on a waiting list to see the doctor. Sometimes it just helps if we feel someone else understands that we're dealing with weird fibro symptoms.
