Hi, Steiner, and welcome! Yes, achiness comes with fibro. We can feel like we have a bad case of the flu. When I have this type of discomfort, I get "antsy" and can't be comfortable. That's when I head to bed for the night. Thank goodness I don't have this in the middle of the day.
Have you been diagnosed with fibro? You might want to see a good board certified rheumatologist to help find out what exactly is going on with you. Make sure they do treat fibro patients just in case that's your diagnosis. There are still some doctors out there that are in the Dark Ages when it comes to this illness.
I use a muscle relaxer that has helped me a lot with these muscle pains. It's called Robaxin. I also use ibuprofen with food, Tylenol, magnesium malate, and vitamin D3 to help with pain too.
Be sure to check out Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are good links there that might help, you and there are links about the supplements I just mentioned and how these work in the body.
I do hope you get some answers soon. It sure is an uncomfortable feeling and, when you don't understand why this is happening, it can cause fear and worry which doesn't help one bit! Do let us know what you find out.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
