Hello. I just joined a few minutes. I have fibro and have been experiencing a shock like needles and pin sensation in my heel for the last week or so and was wondering if anyone else has had this also. It hurts and it is random at any given time. Thanks!

Hi, Fibrogirl, and welcome! I'm so glad you decided to join in. We have a wonderful group of members who love to help one another and, as a bonus, we really do care about each other. I think you will like it here.

Yes, we can get the pin pricks and tingling on our bodies. We can get hot spots, cold spots, numbness, and I even get the sensation of a bug crawling on me occasionally and also I can feel like water is running down my leg. Fibro can be very weird. Things come and go for us.

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you can learn a lot there. Good starting links would be Symptoms, What Else Could It Be, and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. All of Fibro 101 is good so do read it.

Hi,

At times , i can feel like bees are stinging my lower legs..

Our symptoms can be so varied that at times its hard to know if its our fibromyalgia or a seperate issue.

In the past, i had a lot of heel pain that was plantar fasciaitis , icing and keeping the foot stretched out helped.

We learn to treat our symptoms, but if its bad ,always good to check with our doctors
