Are my symptoms Fibro?

I've been dealing with stomach problems, and lower back / side pain (mostly when trying to sleep). Additionally my eyes burn most of the time, and it looks like a little black spot has formed in my right eye (floater?). My neck is very stiff (especially in the morning). This has been going on for a few months now. I've had a CT of my back / abdomen as well as a colonoscopy. All came back good.

I can't figure out what is going on sad

Its of course hard to say since our symptoms can be so varied..

It would be usual to have pain in all four quadrants..

Its good they are ruling other things out, but always frustrating when we just are not sure what is wrong..

My neck has been quite an issue this summer..and worse with barometric issues..

Others will chime in , but its more quiet on the weekends

Hi, Jordan, and welcome! Fibromyalgia affects muscles, tendons and ligaments primarily. The criteria for diagnosing Fibromyalgia is having pain in all four quadrants of the body that has lasted for several months. Cognitive memory problems usually occur too.

Many of us see a board certified rheumatologist for our diagnosis...if you want to go that route.

Read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there. The link called A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia would be a good one for you to read to see if this is what you are going through.

You might try getting a GENTLE massage. I know massage helps me with neck and muscular pain.

Hi , Im new to this room. I was diagnosed with TN in 2011.I was taking Gabapentin 300 mg. This Morning which is the 22 of August 2017. I woke up with extreme pain and couldnt get out of bed. My neck and spine locked my body. Is this pain a system of fibro? Icompletely stopped my medication for my TN. But noticed the TN had stopped with this pain. I am asking any one with information on this pain I would appreciate it very much. Meow 3
