For those of you taking supplements, do you trust the blood tests doctors prescribe to check your vitamin levels?

I trust the blood tests but I double check what the doctor has to say. Most doctors don’t know a whole lot about
vitamins. I started out at 13 nmol/L which is quite low. Once I got it up to 30 nmol/L , my doctor said I didn’t need to take Vitamin D3 anymore. But I had done a lot of reading on the topic when I was found to be deficient. 😇. 30 nmol/L is the lowest of normal! You can go up to a little over 100 nmol/L without it being too high! I wanted to be in the 50-60 range so I have continued taking it. And my 5,500 IU a day is keeping me in that range.
This is from the National Institutes of Health...
In general, levels below 30 nmol/L (12 ng/mL) are too low for bone or overall health, and levels above 125 nmol/L (50 ng/mL) are probably too high. Levels of 50 nmol/L or above (20 ng/mL or above) are sufficient for most people.
