this linked study, and I'll give you her intro to this, in case anyone has missed seeing the info or is new to fibro research.
"Previously, the Swedish Karolinska team has twice found intrathecal IL-8, an inflammatory cytokine, in fibro patients. Intrathecal = in the theca (sac) of the spinal cord, demonstrating central inflammation. The lead author on the first was Diana Kadetoff, and on the second, Eva Kosek.
"(I have seen a non-fibro study ---from Japan maybe?-- which found that CNS inflammation, demonstated in their study by IL-8, rises with the presence of peripheral inflammation.)"
