Hopegirl, MS is one of the illnesses that has to be ruled out before a diagnosis of fibro is given. Other main ones are lupus and Lyme disease. All these illnesses share many of the same symptoms. Only your doctor can tell you for sure what you are dealing with. You’ve been on this forum for many years so I am assuming you have gone through the testing and have received a fibro diagnosis.
Yes, quite a few members have the fatigue and difficulty sleeping. I was one of them until I put myself on the sleep schedule I mentioned in my other post. I still can have days where I’m dragging even though I got my seven hours of sleep. Many don’t get in the deep REM sleep so they are not rested when they wake up. I basically doze all night but, before the sleep schedule, I couldn’t even do that! I know being fatigued can be miserable but really try my suggestions. These have been proven and they could help you get your life back on track...including the weekends!
Bigcase, I’m sorry to hear about your job. Do you have computer skills where you can work from home? If not, I’m sure you have skills since you have been working. There are jobs out there. My daughter just found a good one. Try going to Indeed.com. You might be surprised! Employment agencies help too. You might find an even better job than the one you have now! Keep thinking positively!
