I was speaking with another mod earlier and we were talking about
body lotions for dry skin. She told me about
Gold Bond diabetic lotion and I told her about
the hospital strength Curel. I told her I don’t use the hospital strength Curel because I get too warm. It holds the heat in and I live in Florida. I use the daily moisturizing Curel instead. It turns out she doesn’t use the Gold Bond diabetic lotion for the same reason and she also lives in a southern state. 😂
So, with winter coming up fast and with members living in the frozen north, you might try using one of these products and see if you stay warmer! Hope this helps!

Hey, Sherrine!
I appreciate the hint because I do live in the frozen north, and feel like a popsicle from about
October through May every year. I had no idea certain lotions could hold in heat! Interesting.

Hi, Debbie! These type of lotions are thicker so that helps keep the heat in. The Curel hospital lotion is very thick and would work wonderful on extreme dryness and help heal the skin. But my skin is fine so I use the daily moisturizing lotion. I did try the hospital lotion once and the thickness definitely held the heat in. So do try it! I hope this works for you.

Thank you, Sherrine. I echo exactly what Debbie said. I had no idea those particular lotions held heat. Good to know! I need all the help I can get, especially by January.
