I've been reading a bit about
bone broth helping with inflammation. Also, there are many types of collagen powders and also plain gelatins like Knox unflavored, which have helped some with pain and inflammation.
I've been diagnosed with fibro and also saw a neurologist some years ago who did very involved testing and tells me I have a nonspecific neuro problem besides the fibro. I had bad flare-ups last Spring and Summer and saw a new neurologist (first one was wonderful but had since retired), as well as a really good rheumatologist. They agree with the first neurologist that whatever else I have likely came from a near-fatal illness I had as an infant--maybe from being packed in ice for the high fever, the numerous meds, the high fever itself, or ?? .
Just wondering if anyone here has tried any of the above-mentioned for pain and/or inflammation? Do any really work? I would think both the bone broth and gelatin would be more natural than the collagen powders, but then again this is all new to me! I love soups, so maybe bone broth might be worth trying?
Thanks for any help.
