sorry my thing messed up yes the pain was from the kidney stone it was the size of a half dollar and it was impacked in the top of kidney and killing the kidney on top I am not sure they new drug yet but he will get the regular treatment his pain in his side is gone now that the kidney stone is out

Do you know if the trial he is on is the one with telaprevir added to the interferon and ribaviron?  Is he on it for 24 weeks?  Sorry for the questions, but I have hep C and have had liver cancer, so this is of personal interest to me...and probably to others here, also.

I'm really glad that they found the source of his pain and removed it!  Poor thing!  He must have really been suffering!  sad

I just e mailed the lady to ask her the trail number it has no name yet but the company is MERCK she told me that this morning I have read about a drug that is MK7009 which it sounds so great I wish that he could get that drug it lowered the RVA load to were it was undetceable in only 28 weeks

how long have you had the cancer? I know a man that found out a month ago that he has hep c and his is already cancer and he is going to start treatment in a week or two also had a close friend pass away a month ago from hepc
