I am going to be moving tomorrow morning, so I am disconnecting the computer in a few minutes.  I can't get down to reconnect it myself due to my hip problems.  So I'm hoping I can get someone to do it for me by Wed.

Meanwhile, please post and be supportive of each other, as always.  PinkGrandma's brother just passed away, so she can't be here much either right now.  Try to keep the forum going while we deal with our situations.

Hope to be back soon!

UPDATE:  I got moved but am having Internet problems.  Have to get a new ISP and they can't hook me up until the 13th.  I will be going into the hospital for surgery on the 12th.  I am online now with AOL Dialup until the 9th, which will enable me to come in occasionally and post, but not much--and after the 9th, I'll be offline again until probably the first of Sept.

Prayers for my surgery will be appreciated.

Connie, my thoughts, prayers, hugs, and every molecule of my poor diseased liver will be hoping you have a good surgery. You help us all so much, so maybe you can get a little support from us.

Thanks, y'all.  I have worked it out to have AOL Dialup until I get the AT&T DSL connected.  That gives me a couple more days to read and post before going into the hospital next Wed.

Well, tomorrow is the big day for my hip revision surgery.  I expect to be gone for a minimum of 2 weeks, but probably more.  Please take care of each other and help out Pink Grandma when you can.  I hope during the period I'm gone that all of you will have nothing but good news.

Hello Connie Rick Timeless and countryboy (and ALL the rest of us out there...
How's Connie and her hip..I've been so busy wiith my own PT that I haven't had a chance to check, any advice for my wife about Lupus and/or RA??? This is a disease that she may have but the site in not really helpful unless you have this type of disease,,I KNow that you all out there with Hep C/Cirrhosis understand where I'm comin' from ...Holly, listin to JC (JOhnny Cash) Ring of Fire and see if you can get the dual meaning...

Pink Grandma,so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. As you know my brother passed away in March. I sure miss him. When we would go down to our old home town. I Always made an effort to see him. He was very I'll so he was prepared. I knew when he gave me some of his memorabila. june

Just spoke with Connie a few minutes ago. She is in a rehabilitation hospital for a about another week or so........She's doing well........and sounds in good spirits.........Connie we miss you ..........can't wait to you are back in the fold.....thoughts and prayers..........
