Scott got a liver 3 weeks ago...!!! Thank God, it was touch & go for a week, the day after surgery they had to take him back in for some repair, than he had "broken heart sydrome" so they thought maybe they were gonna have to do heart surgery, but it all worked out and hes on his way to a full recovery, no signs of rejection etc. I called him today and he was a happy camper, just ate his first pickle in a year! Hes learned its the little things in life that make you happy. He thinks they may have given him a female liver, because all of a sudden hes very emotional. Ha HA. Hes very, very thankful for a second chance! And I want to thank you all for the support you give to us all in need of someone to talk to, you are truely a Gods sent!
