I had started a thread about this weeks ago, but darned if I can find it now...and now it's immediate and urgent.

Those of you who have been around awhile (Rick, David, ML/Carol, Pam, Healthy Now/Emma, Linda, etc.), please try to welcome newcomers and share information with new members and old--more often.

I will be in absentia from Mon., May 16th until Sat., June 11th...while transplant evaluation is being conducted.  I will try to look in at night and on the weekends, if I'm not TOO exhausted...but basically you can consider me GONE during those dates.

Thanks very much for helping me out.

I'd be here anyway, so you do what's needed. This is going to be just like when the teacher is out and the substitute is trying to control the kids.

Me too. I check the site often and get email on my phone so can respond (with typos) from anywhere.

Connie, please post in about how it is going, even if you don't have energy to answer everyone on everything...just sort of blog on your process.

I'll be shaking my tambourine for you too!

I'll check in when I can from here.  I'll be back in SD on Sunday but middle of the night, so back to some kind of normal on Monday the 23rd.  I'm hopeful PG and I can keep the boys under some kind of control smhair .

Don't worry and take care of you.  So happy you have this opportunity!

Hey...me too. I am moved..... shoulder surgery done back to work and on the road to recovery. Plus I finally have my puter back as it crashed...... good thing for extended warenties

Connie, I had rotator repair and a nasty spur taken care of. I guess the spur did a fair amount of damage but I am recovering ahead of the curve. Went back to work with a 2lb limit, I just couldnt stay home any longer. While I was recovering my sister and I painted our entire new place and got all projects done so I was getting bored. This is the first time I have been back since beginning of March so I am trying to play catch up here!

Hi Sue,
I'm glad to hear you're on the mend. I had a painful bone spur(s) ground off a little over 10 years ago. Once the first couple of weeks was over, I was out of pain and stayed with my physical therapy. It took a year before things were perfect. Good to see you back.
