I got to thinking today. Mike has his list of TO DO's and DON"TS.
Wash your hands, avoid crowds, avoid those who have been recently inocculated, avoid kidlettes, avoid pet waste, no gardenting or raking leaves to stay clear of molds, avoid recycled air venues for now. We also avoid smokers, dust, and took a different route to avoid a wild fire.
Well, if that list were not long enough, this scare about the fresh veggies in Europe and this new strain of ecoli got me thinking...about fresh stuff HERE. We have dear friends in Hamburg and they are not eating anything they don't COOK these days.
If Mike were to get into a batch of those cukes or tomatoes, or whatever, he would be doomed I fear with his immune compromised state.
Has anyone's doc recommended a specific anti-bacterial wash for fresh fruits and veggies. I am diligent, but should I be using something other than water? I'm especially interested in feedback from our UK and other non USA members.
