I wanted to stop by and say hi to everyone. I have been checking in and I am so happy for you Connie that you got your transplant! Hopefully you will start feeling much better soon.
It has been hard to get back on here since Anna passed away. I knew it would be hard, but not this hard. Mark and the kids are holding up well, better that I thought. I think with the holidays coming it may be harder on him. He has been kind of moody here lately, so I figure it is that. Thanksgiving was ok, but he kept very busy.
I did finally find out what was wrong with me after Anna passed away. I have hypersensitive pneumonitis, my lungs have a severe reaction to something, just no way of telling what it is. I will constantly have to be on the lookout for shortness of breath and pain in my chest area. The reason my kidneys and liver wanted to shut down is because I was septic. When I went to the check up my liver was doing great and my kidneys are back to 100%. The doctor told me in order to not have to live the life Anna did, I needed to lose a little weight and I have lost 20lbs so far. Kinda at a stand still with all the good holiday foods, lol.
I really want to thank everyone here for all the support I got while going through this horrible disease with Anna. There are many times I dont think I would have made it through without all of you! To have people to know exactly what you are going through and to help you get through it is wonderful. There was no judging like you get from people who dont know about liver disease and how horrible it can be. Everyone always assumes you have done it to yourself, but in all reality, in some way or form, everyone is doing it to themselves. THey just dont want to admit it!
I miss everyone here and will be coming back to check and hopefully help more often. Hope everyone is doing well!
