could i still have liver diease after all these test!

Hello Everybody I'm new to this forum i haven't found any thing about liver diease besides hep & cirrhosis and i know theres more liver diseases then hep and cirrhosis.
i'm scared maybe I've cost myself liver disease...I'm 28 female I've been drinking on & off for years. i use to drink every weekend and some on week days. now i only drink on Saturday an i don't drink none during the week. but Ive had pain in my right side i cant tell if its under my rib or really where it could be come from ive talk to my pcp about this and my gastroenterologist. the test ive had so far for this are liver function test.ctscan sound.hida scan they r all saying all my test come back fine an ive even had a Endoscopy & my gastroenterologist said my liver looked fine im wonder since ive had that done it was over summer 2011 now its 2012 could i have messed my liver up in this short period off time? i had the hidascan to check my gallbladder but i havent got the results back yet i have to go this month on the 28th to find out. should i bring this pain back up to my gastroenterologist? should i have my liver funtion done again? im so tired of all this blood work an test. or could i have something else i know i'm thinking the worst bey thinking i have liver diease. i dont have really any symtoms besides the pain in my right side which also goes around torge my back. so my question is with all these test just being reason maybe a couple months ago but still pretty recent could i have damaged my liver that much? or am i just over reading. i also have some dry flaky skin i've also had uncontrolable itch but it comes an goes it dont stay. and i also keep having red cheeks which i read is a sign of liver damage. can anybody please give me something to ease my mind should i stop worrying.

It would be worth getting checked for H-Pylori. I had the same symptoms and H-Pylori ended up being the culprit.

Is the pain constant on he right side radiating toward the back or intermittent? do you have it some days and not others? Does it go away if you take something for the pain. Do you notice it gets worse when you eat, or when you have fatty foods?

Some gall bladder problems can come and go...depending on whether there is a gall stone caught in a duct. the pain can be awful, and then resolve. You can get jaundiced when the duct is blocked.

I DO think you should remind your docs about the pain,. No one knows your body better than YOU.

about the drinking, if you have read through these posts, you have learned that plenty of folks have trashed their liver with alcohol. Long time daily drinking or binge drinking can become a death sentence for those who get cirrhosis. My recommendation is to drink NO ALCOHOL while you are going through this diagnostic period.

If you have any liver damage, don't drink EVER.

If you do not, the decision is less clear. If you know you have an addictive type personality, don't drink EVER.
You k now what I mean...one beer is good, 10 is better. Those folks can't start a bottle without finishing it.

Hep C, Cirrhosis, Heptocellular Cardinoma...and now he ONLY has HEP C.

H pylori is a bacteria which causes ulcers. It is treated with antibiotics and a proton pump inhibitor. It is diagnosed through a breath test.

There is information about liver disease at the top of this forum that may get you started learning about liver disease.

There are many reasons why a liver can fail...hepatitis a, b or c (and some others), auto immune hepatitis, poisoning, alcholism, heptocellular carcinoma, etc.

When a liver fails, there are ways to control the symptoms of jaundice, confusion, swelling of the belly, etc.  But there is no cure except liver transplantation.
