I will assume you get a call back today with the pain situation. There is always the chance that something did not go well with the banding. The doc should bring you in and check you out.
Mike had a huge problem after an ERCP and wound up in the hospital for 5 days...but it took moving mountains to get him a bed. at 1PM we left the out pt surgi-center at the hospital and by 6 were in the ER right next door. It took hours and hours for them to realize Mike was in terrible pain. Then they took care of it.
If you are horrible and can stand the BS at the ER, go there if you don't get help.
RE the labs, etc. You are entitled to all the tests. You may have to request them through medical records, some places are icky about
it. But most of the docs just have them copied the day of the appointment and let you take a copy home.
WE keep every single test, MRI, etc. Docs like to see trends, sudden changes, etc. A number may seem all out of range for one person and be the norm for another.
Let us hear that you are feeling better soon. (We hope).
