tenofovir is the same as Viread. viread is a gilead drug that is already released. its not a cure but it suppresses hep b. it is in trials with peginterferon as a combo. gs 4774 is listing at ucla and kaiser here in LA.

thank God I'm cured, I would never put interferon or ribavirin in my body ever again I'd rather be dead

2015 is the magic number for the combination that you're looking for. Should cure you in 12 weeks. The new drugs. are DAAs which means direct acting anti virals.when you clear the virus it dies, they don't use the word SVR they use the word cure. The only way you can contract the virus again is by being re infected. So good things are on the way. Hang in there be patient, it's only a 12 week therapy and it has a 95 to 100 percent cure rate. I have 3 prior treatments on the old drugs and failed everyone. I did the Sofosbuvir ledispasvir and it knocked it out in the first 7 days. I have been cleared of the virus since January 19th 2013. I was deemed cured by the study Dr my hepatologist and the company, Gilead.so keep your head up help is on the way soon and you'll be cured. Best of luck to you.
