I will add my voice to the choir of get well wishes. Hospitals suck, get out of that one soon and come back, you are missed!

Ziff, I rember all the plotting to get you here online, and you sure were a different person then. Glad you stuck with it.

I haven't heard anything from Sigrid, Connie's sister. She will call if there are any changes. I'm hoping that no news is good news.

Been checking here all day for updates. Fingers crossed that no news is good news and Connie is doing well.

It may seem simple David but your posting that there is no new news is news. Now Connie would have fixed that statement.

My prayers continue for Connie. My thoughts are with her constantly.

I spoke with Sigrid, Connie's sister, today. Connie had called her and they talked for a short time. Later, Sigrid called and left a message. The Mayo folks said Connie has signed a DNR and is moving to a hospice that is near by Mayo. Her condition is unchanged. I will update whenever Sigrid calls me.

Oh my...Hospice? Are things bad? Are the complications/issue she is having, liver related?

Thank you for the update.
I am sorry and have a heavy heart about this news. I was hoping to hear about a rally and improvement.
I will keep Connie close in thought and keep praying for a turnaround.

Last I heard Connie's liver graft was doing fine. She is having heart and lung complications. And is worn out.

Prayers for Connie and for the members of this forum. Connie's a fighter. I wouldn't put it past her to be able to pull a rally off. Deep breaths guys. Let's pull together. Please tell her we love her.

My heart goes out to all of you here in the forum and to Connie's family.  I have put together one of my Angel Cards and got it out to the mail box hoping it will arrive in the right place quickly.

I am praying daily in my daily prayers that Connie rallies from this precarious health situation and that her time in Hospice will turn out to be just a resting stop and she will soon  be back with all of you - it is the miracle she needs.

She is a special Lady and to see the love each of you have for her makes it is easy to understand what a loving person she is.

Thanks Kitt.. she built this forum.. and we must keep the faith and come together as the family we are. I think maybe I'm going to post some grammatically incorrect posts. She'll know and that will rally her butt home here. Seriously, we miss her and are praying for her hourly, daily, etc. Love ya Connie!!

Omg. I haven't been able to log on here for awhile....and I come back to this. I'm not gonna lie - there are tears right now. Connie is one of those people that....well, she's just one of those people. She helped me tremendously when Robert first became ill and I started posting here (I started on the CP forum for my own issues.). I was so scared, uninformed, and confused. Everything happened so quickly with Robert and my head was spinning. I made my first post, not knowing what to ask, what to do, what to expect - and shortly after, there was Connie. She answered my questions, eased my mind, and stopped my head from spinning. She was a lifesaver for me during that time!

Please, if anyone speaks to her or sends her a card, tell her I'm thinking of her and sending some prayers (as is Robert). I know she has been thru the ringer and I know she is tired - but I think it's in her nature to fight....so if anyone can get past this, Connie can.

Just heard from Sigrid. She's about 2 hours from Jacksonville. She will be back in touch tomorrow. I will let you know, when I hear from her.

Thank you so much to David and MamaLama...you are both doing a fantastic job...MamaLama with the forum and David with the updates. Connie means so much to all of us. She continues to touch our lives in so many ways, she has encourages us when we are at our weakest points, she helps us through tough times and in addition to it all, has given us many valuable lessons in spelling and grammar. Looking forward to having her join us back on the forum and praying that she has a speedy recovery.
