I know it's been awhile since I've posted about
my husband. I'm very honored to say that prayers do work and we have been very blessed. Chuck has been going thru cancer treatment for stage 4 liver cancer with mets to his lungs for the past 14 months. On Feb. 4th which is National Cancer Awareness Day he had his pet scan to see how the chemoembolization had done. The results are he is now Cancer Free!!! what a blessing. We thank God and all the people that have been keeping us in their prayers. Now we have a new battle to fight the embolization has caused his liver disease to progress with symptoms of ESLD. He's developed acities and esophageal varices . I'm wondering if now that the cancer is gone if he may qualify for a liver transplant .I have called the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville to start the process to see if he's a candidate . Please keep us in your prayers as I'm afraid his liver may progress quickly. Karen
