what took him so long? he will be undetectable by monday. he is dropping 450,000 a day. yeah baby!!!!

So awesome to hear the drop in his viral load. I was expecting a big drop, but not that big. I think you need to go out for dinner tonight.

This is amazing news for Mike and you Mama! I was wondering how things would work on his Genotype 1 and all I can say is WOW!!

I somehow missed this post yesterday in my own excitement when I got the phone call about me VL drop from 4.7 million down to 79 but none the less I am so excited for both of you and I really hope this news brings a huge smile and maybe even tears to Mike's face as well as your's.

While I hate like hell that Gilead is charging so much for this drug we all have to agree it works and the results are now showing with multiple users just on this forum alone, I can't wait for Sovaldi to be covered by all insurance providers or by the governments so price no longer is an issue.

Three cheers for Mike and Mama, hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray!

Oh Wow! Such great news so far at your house.

You mentioned something with Mike's hearing and his need for loud TV. Have you ever turned your settings on with "closed caption"? We have it set on all of our TV's. You can read the dialogue and watch at the same time. It takes some getting used to.

Yay on everything wonderful with this new treatment. You have fought a brilliant fight for Mike's life. Big hugs,

I'm still amazed this morning at the results for myself after 30 days, Mike's results are also unbelievable after all he's been through and I think things will get much better for him....he deserves a break from all of this and so do you. :-)

His platelets are up, most everything else in normal range too .

Some sides: fatigue, insomnia if not medicated, and horrible leg cramps. Nothing he has not worked through before...so maybe they are Hep C symptoms not treatment sides.

Day 24. Everything is going well. He is the luckiest guy on the planet. Labs from 3/21 arrived today and WEEK THREE VIRAL LOAD IS <15 DETECTED.

So I guess they are present in very low numbers, which is considered great...no?

It is great! That's currently my last result at week 4.
Will be testing again Monday with crossed fingers :)
So are you testing again tomorrow for week 4?
