Drama.
I called CVS Specialty Pharmacy when I didn't receive an expected text that my last auto shipment had arrived at the local pharmacy. I was informed that due to whatever reason, auto shipments weren't being processed. So I'm not going to received my medicine until the following Tuesday, four days without medicine. And the evil person I was speaking with informed me that if she noticed only a week supply of medicine left that she would be calling the specialty pharmacy to check on the next shipment.
I thought to myself, really? It's my fault that auto shipments that happened in the past are now not being processed. So I confirmed that the shipment wasn't coming on time and hung up.
I immediately called back and stated my case to a pharmacist who set up a shipment to arrive the next day. Which resulted in only five hours late on my Sovaldi pill.
I am now in the process of trying to get the evil call center person fired or determining what the deal is with CVS. Are they pulling this this crap for monetary reasons or what?
If I weren't so motivated to remain compliant to treatment, I could be sitting here now unmedicated with a virus that's mutating and becoming even harder to kill... for all CVS is concerned.
Otherwise I'm fine. Able to remain compliant to treatment with the hopes of SVR with a supportive wife. I'm drinking plenty of water and intake good calories, but I do indulge in a few
cookies and ice cream.
I learned a long time ago that nothing happens unless I follow up and keep digging and working to be successful. If there is ever a next time, I certainly won't take "auto" anything for granted. Period.
