Thanks all for the support.
Starting week 13 (day 91).
Received my 12 wk blood tests and am still <15 UNDETECTED and my enzymes (AST & ALT) are slowly coming back down...
So far, the only major side effect that I've experienced on a prolonged basis is fatigue but, I must admit, it is very manageable. In the beginning, had a few nights of sleeplessness and anxiety. Fortunately, they were short lived.
All in all this has been pretty easy for me to handle and, most importantly, I have not missed any work.

Twelve happy weeks...a few more to go.
You've got this...and so glad to hear you have not had to miss work...many people are asking about
that.
A few tired weeks is a fair price to pay to avoid the tragedy that is End Stage Liver Disease.
Woo Hoo.

Thanks ML. I posted due to some of the posts I've been reading talk specifically about
the fear of not being able to work or about
having serious sides.. Everybody is different, but I think that the vast majority of people are able to handle the treatment with very few problems. Will there be sides... of course there will be. Hell, what would one expect after taking 637 pills in the last 91 days.... People need to realize that there is no need for fear.. JUST DO IT. Most are lucky to have only 84 days of treatment others less so with an extended 168 days of treatment. I am part of the second group and after the 637 pills ingested so far I can clearly say... Is this all there is to it? wow, pretty darn easy. 77 days left.. piece of cake.

Great attitude! Treatment is different for everyone. Gosh, my husband treated twice with the old drugs...and he worked through the first time. The 2nd had him bedridden with loads of side's. One never knows. Since he did obtain SVR with the 2nd, that news made all of the sides very much worth the journey. Keep up your positive thoughts, kiddo. Big Hugs

Hello again. On the 27th of Jan I finished my 24 week treatment. I must admit that the fatigue was pretty hard the last 6 weeks but I made it. My EOT results came back as UNDETECTED.. will let you know when I get my 12 week EOT tests (April). What a journey.
