Hello everybody, its been awhile since I visited the forums and everything has been going great with myself and most of all my health, I began exercising again and eating as good as I could after my results came back clean earlier this year and things couldn't be better.
For awhile I actually forgot the URL of the forums and I was sad thinking how the hell am I going to find it, I never bookmarked anything at all so I simply search "Allen Sovaldi" and there was the forum at the very top of the list!
A couple of weeks ago I was very tired, had fears maybe something was wrong again but regardless I thought I better get tested again so I got a blood requisition and had all my liver tests done and my ALT is normal and I'm fine, I'm just exercising and enjoying life so much it poops me out and make me exhausted...acting like a grandpa at 45.
I wanted to come by the forums today and say from the bottom of my heart Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to all of you and especially Mama, Steve, Music and everybody else that made my treatment easier and were there for me, the treatment for me was an emotional time and you all helped me more than words can ever say and I think of everybody on this forum many times as I'm sitting and daydreaming and think of how I dodged the bullet with Hepatitis C and when I needed help it was a blessing to find these forums and so many kind people.
I hope everybody else is still healthy and doing well, I noticed right away when I came that many new users have adopted the format of starting the treatment threads like I did with all their pertinent info such as age, weight, medications, insurance provider etc as thats ALL pertinent info to others looking for info and needing help to navigate all the info, its great to have a persons info all in one thread so you can compare yourself with other users who might have took the same meds or have a similar medical condition that you think might make you treatment different, I have epilepsy and its possible someone else may have it also so its a good thing for comparing things with similar users for side effects etc.
Thanks again everybody for your support during my treatment and keeping me motivated, I love you all more then you'll ever know and won't ever forget all your kind words and encouragement during my treatment and how it made a very touch time in my life just a bit easier to handle but in the end I did it and was cured of Hepatitis C and have to say this support group had a lot to do with my mental state and emotions and kept me carrying on and staying positive through it all.
Lots of love and Merry Christmas to all of you and your families and to any of you I haven't met just know that you're in good hands with the people on this forum and they will make you smile in the worst of times and will give you support if you need it and most have the answers that oddly your own physician might not, they did for me anyways.
Take care everybody and be careful not to abuse your liver over the holidays, I never realized what a sophisticated part of our body it is until I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C and have a lot more respect for my liver...its ok to have a few if your healthy but if not don't chance making things worse.
Lotsa love from both the wife and I , she mentioned last week to find the forums and go say thank you to all of you for Christmas....so here I am!
