I am hep c geno 3 and I went through 6 months treatment. Today I got my end of treatment results. I have been cured and I certainly hope this gives all of you hope. Its tough but it works. This has been a 40 yr burden.

I've been on this forum for at least 6 years. Most of the posts were bad news back then. In the past year, more often than not, the posts are positive. It keeps getting better...

painter5971 cool That is wonderful news!! I bet you are glad that is over. Yes you have given me hope, although I am still researching all I can on Harvoni. I am 1a an also have to take it for 6 months . When is your "after treatment" time when they check you. I am gathering that was now but how long after you completed treatment did they wait to check your final bloodwork , 3months or 6months?....... and when would you get more bloodwork? Once a year? I am so sorry for all the questions I am confusing myself lol. I haven't started the Harvoni yet (even though I have it here) but I hope to do so soon. Thank you for sharing!!

Congratulations, although I am confused. The post seems to be from April 21, but then there are replies from yesterday. Good news regardless, just not sure if it is old good news or new good news.

painter hasn't been seen on the forum since April 26. I think 944 posted to an old thread and others thought the news was recent.
