Just an update after being away from HW for a long time after the passing of my hubby in Feb 2013 from Hep C liver disease. First of All, A BIG thank you for all of you who shared and supported us through the struggle, information gathering and the rants and raves as we struggled with this disease. This forum was our life line to information, sharing and dealing with issues that arose. I can't thank you all enough for responding. As a caregiver there were days, weeks and months this forum was a life line for me and a source of information for him (I would read him the posts).
I still have the ranch in NE, with a new baby palomino foal born this year and enjoy my herd of Quarter horses and miniature horses, which is a lot of work, but keeps me healthy. Am doing equine work with grieving children (usually that have lost a parent) and children with learning disabilities, which is rewarding. Started dating a high school classmate who is a very nice guy that raised 3 daughters by himself. Am working toward rebuilding a happy life, which is what my late hubby wanted me to do.
Best to all of you and again...thanks so much for ALL the support and frank honest postings.
