Hi! I had some test results and I would like somebody help me understand them.

HBsAg ------> 0.2 (negative <1)
Anti-HBc ------------->0.07 IV (negative<1)
Anti-HBs ------------->0.4 mIU/mL (negative <10)

and

Anti-HBe ----> 1.98 (negative<1)

Does anybody knows what the isolated e antibody means?

Hi Watercat and welcome,
Your hepb tests are as follows:

Hbsag- .2 negative means you do not have hep b

Anti-Hbc.07 negative- no past infections

Anti- hbs .4 negative- no immunity(no vaccinations)

The E antigen appears after a positive hep b(hbsag) infection.
So there would be no antibodies.

Is it possible to be in the window period? Should I repeat the tests in a month?

6 months ago I also had the HBsAg done which was negative.

you do not have hep B. Testing is not necessary. Why are you testing?

Well, I am pregnant (week 30) and my sgot and sgpt levels were elevated (56 and 108 respectively).

The gynecologist says this is from the lentogest injections (progesterone) I had a month ago, but another doctor asked me to test for hepatitis.

I had the tests and then the antihbe mark confused me.

OK!! that's understandable. Makes sense to test for hepatitis, as long as they are drawing blood.
