JoAnn, that is SO fantastic!!! Now let's hope BC doesn't change their mind again! ) What an emotional rollercoaster! I hope you can breathe easy for awhile. Any idea how long of a waiting list they have for transplant?
Also, can someone explain that to me about the list, insofar as how it works. That is, I know that Mayo has the shortest wait time in the nation--a matter of weeks--for liver transplant. But isn't a transplant list a national database and whoever is sickest goes to the top? Or does each hospital have their own list and system? If ever I should have a recurrence of cancer in my remaining left liver lobe, I would need a transplant. Ditto if the left lobe should go into failure. I also want info so I can more easily understand what some of you are going through a little better.
