Some history here, i am a chronic carrier of the Hep B and have been so since 1990 or may be even prior. Mind you, i was not aware of it, and found out at the routing blood test last month. Apparently, i had a virus for around 20 years or may be even more, meaning i had it while i was pregnant with my son back in 1990. I looked trough medical records from the clinic, and found out that i was a carrier for Australian Antigen, it was part of my pregnancy test. Scary as it is, no one had given any advise, offered treatments, nothing!!, and i was too stupid to even ask about
what Australian Antigen was.
What was the chances of my son being born with the disease?? 95%
We just got his blood test back.......
I must say, he is one lucky guy!!! (pardon my language) to be born healthy and without the virus. This is the best news ever. Yep, I'll have my big 40 tomorrow and couldn't ask for a better B-day present!!!
Thank you all for listening.
