Hi all, just wanted to share my good news with you yeah , we just found out my husband is "on the list"!  He has to undergo some more testing, A CT scan on his gall bladder and a endoscopy to check his portal vein so I am going to be holding my breath until these come out ok. After reading La Bunna's posts I am much more positive about this really happening!  What a roller coaster ride turn .

Hi Judith,

I am so happy for you guys! I've now met several people who have successfully had the transplant and each, and their partner, have said it was a miracle in the changes. Not always easy, but sunshine on a cloudy day.

I wish nothing but good news and happiness!

I believe we ALL felt that way - ALONE - until we found this place.
Now, I believe none of us feels alone.
Even at 3:00 in the morning there is someone there to cry with or laugh with or worry yourself sick with. Or ( THIS IS THE BEST)...... Learn from !

 How is your hubbie doing???  Vanderbilt called on Friday Jerry's MELD is now a 12!!!  Why am I not surprised!  They reassured me his MELD will catch up with his body (I'm not sure reassured is a good word for it) !  He has a new medication for his itching.  I drove to the drug store on Thurs evening late to get it filled so he could start taking it ASAP.  Still not working but I hope!  Candlelight takes it so it HAS to work!  We have the dehydration under control (everone cross fingers, legs, toes etc)!  I have been meaning to ask you did your hubbie have a hernia?  Jerry now has three.  He is going through a stage where he has to hold one in all the time! YUK.  The Dr. told us that is good because at one point it got stuck and that is NOT good.  It was another tirp to the ER.  That was very painful for him also if they couldn't get it pushed back in they would have to do surgery.  That is a NO NO right now.  Oh I need to go rub lotion on.  Please keep us posted.  It just feels so good to hear from you.

John--"Sunshine On A Cloudy Day"  I can remember the words and the tune.  But who did it?  I'm sure it was one of your old buddies or maybe a neighbor.  Hope you are managing the pain!!!
