Hi,

Just wanted to give all of you an update on me and my daughter.....well we have finally moved, been here almost a month and still unpacking...

My family has been very supportive over the last few weeks...being there for me when I need them to just talk....I have had a few episode of me just all of a sudden just start crying when I hear a song or just thinking about my husband at work.....fortunatly my co-workers and managers have been very understanding....this is going to be a long road to go through but we are taking one day at a time and putting one foot in front of the other.....

I also want to thank everyone for being there for me this chat room has helped and will continue to help me as long as everyone still gives me a lending ear.

Hello Celey and welcome back. Looks like we both were moving about the same time. I still have about 5 boxes inside my house to unpack and a slug of them in the shed. O'l well the ones in the shed will still be there in the spring.

Celey it's been over a year and a half since my husband died. And it does get easier. I still cry sometimes.........like you when I hear certain songs. But for the most part I am 100% better. Starting to live again.
With him being sick for so long..........it wasn't really living.....just surviving.

Do keep coming back.......HealingWell was a life saver for me after he died.

Hi, Cely.  I'm glad to hear that your family has been supportive, and also that your managers and co-workers are understanding.

Best of luck to you in your new home, but I hope you will continue to post here.

Cely, I am glad to hear that you are trying to move on with your life. I can only imagine how hard it must be. It is really good that you have supportive people around. Everyone needs a shoulder every now and then. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
