Catching up

Hello Everyone, I am trying to catch up on posts to see how everyone is doing, yeah I have been in a bit of a rut. I just cant seem to get my brain to stop thinking about Doug, it will be a year this coming saturday. I find I am slipping backwards a little. Dont want to be social spent my days off in my jammies with the cat buggin me. Trying to find a second job, just struggling with him gone and finances etc....I really miss his stupid grin! I guess I am just whining with really nothing to whine about, I had a great man in my life, I have a wonderful family and a pain in the but cat so what more could I want. In a week or so I will put on my big girl pants and start posting again, maybe even get dressed on my days off lol.

Sue, it's natural to feel as you do, coming up on the anniversary of Doug's death.  I know my daughter gets mopey around the time her son died and also on his birthday.  It has gotten better with time.

Allow yourself a certain amount of time to reminisce and cry, then pick yourself up and get active.  I think that's what Doug would want.
