Information needed about treatment for liver cancer.

My PCP has taken great care of me, beginning with finding Hep C in me. Most doctors never would have looked for it. I went in with a kidney stone and he noticed a slight blip with my liver enzymes. He had me come back for more tests and found it. From there on in, he and the other health providers never missed a beat. At first, the nurse/practitioner for my hepatologist told me my various levels, but after a few months, I began to rely solely on her basic evaluations. She'd been working with Hep C patients for almost 25 years and I still speak to her, even though she's not my nurse. The same goes for my PA from MGH. Again both of these women were up front and never pulled a punch. I stopped asking for anything, other than MELD scores, several years ago. I always got the truth, what else is there? **David**

David, there's an awful lot I don't know.  I have learned so much from participation in this forum and having to research things.  It interests me, but when you have a great medical team that you trust, there's no reason to have to dig into everything unless there's a personal interest.
