Hello.
My name is Joseph, and I'm 20 years old. A month after my 17th birthday I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Along with UC, I was diagnosed with PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis), a chronic degenerative liver disease that affects my bile ducts. My doctor told me that I had nothing to worry about, and for the past few years I've coped with my condition and learned to handle it. What has me worried is that in the past few days I've began to develop a discomfort in my lower right side where my ribcage is located (I know this is my liver because I've had biopsies taken there). Since this is a liver health board, can someone help me out a bit? The only symptom I have is that.. just a wierd feeling inside of me. No jaundice or weakness.. yet. I'm getting really worried, and I'm planning to go see a gastroenternologist in a few days. Please, has someone here ever had that symptom only before? Does it mean something serious? I worry that one day I might pass away because of my liver condition, I've read up on the topic, but I don't want it to be this soon. Please, any info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thank you!!
Joseph
