Sandi.... in black and white toga (zebra striped) contemplating.... hummmmmmm.... hummmmmm... calculating.... oops... I have no clue about loads... hummmmm and such.... shifts her toga to the side...hummmmmmm...hummmm... hummmm oh yes... found a whole load of positive thoughts and prayers for you ....... hummmm.... hummm... hummmm... man I wish I knew about loads.... hummmm... hummmm....hummmming is hard on the false teeth....oh wait I don't have false teeth... well hummmmm...hummmm...hummm...those are my real teeth vibrating.....hummm... ole lady teeth....hummmm oh yeah a "fortunate" old lady...much prayers for you... and thoughts along your path...hmmmmm man gotta get a shorter toga... keep stepping on it... and using the biffy... in a toga... sucks... like a big ole zebra on the can......... :) Sandi

Hi Rodney, In our resource folder there is a section on: Lab Tests and Values Associated with Liver Disease . It has a lot of good information about testing. Take care......thoughts and prayers........

Rodney,

I asked because I found a paper that said a bigger prognostic indicator is ALP (alk phos). Over 1000 U/L is not good. Your value isn't outrageously higher than the normal range which on one site is 30-120 U/L. You need to sit down with your oncologist and definitely a hepatologist to discuss your concerns with your values.
