Connie is absolutely right. Lactulose is to be given on a regular basis, at least once or twice a day. Do you have any help? Have you called Hospice? You hang in there, and take care of you, too!

Thanks guys for your replies.mum still the same.refusing to take any meds.if we force it down she is spitting it out.did not wake up from 2pm wednesday to now friday 7am.only gets up to go to the loo and back.last night she could not make to the loo and urinated on the bed.refused to get up so could clean up at about 2am she said she feeling wet then she said she wants t have a bath.gave her a bath and then she was back to bed.refuses to eat or drink anything.also she had a nose bleed late yesterday afternoon

  Hi there.Asof yesterday mum took a turn for the better.She almost back to her normal self.Swelling has gone down drastically and she looks and feels so much better.She has been taking her meds from yesterday.I feel so happy to see her like this.
