I'm back

Hi Connie, worriedgirl, Rick and so on...I'm back. Sorry I havent been on in almost 1 yr. Things have been crazy and I'm not feeling to good but I'm back. We need to catch up and I have to read up on everyone. I hope I find all are doing well.

I missed you all and hope your all well. I had a crazy yr. Hubby went to jail for breaking probation got out end of summer ,I lost my job in June but thank God! got another one. So I had to cut a lot of extras. So far this yr. is better except for me getting sick. I was just dx with hep A on top of my hep c. I was really confused and acting crazy, like wanting to give money back to bank arguing that they gave me to much when they didnt LOL!!!

All my labs were messed up, Alt & Ast, bilirubin ,sodium ect. I'm feeling good at the moment but I still get a little crazy, atleast I can laugh at my self.

Hubby is doing good and staying sober and working. His health has improved, his labs are all normal.

Enough about me tell me whats been going on with all of you.

Welcome Emma. So glad your hubby stopped drinking, its difficult for them and us. Its a battle everyday they have to deal with and hopefully they continue to stay sober. I pray ev. day that he has the courage to make the right decision and stays sober. Does your husband have varices? My hubby has stage 2 varcies, but since he stopped drinking all his labs are normal except his platletes are low which is normal with cirrhosis. He feels much better with out the drink and he smiles and laughs again:)

Connie congrats on being a great grandma and I mean that in every since of the word. I'm so happy for you and wish you a lot of luck with the new treatment.

I see my GI Dr. next mo. and get another ultra sound. I'm waiting to hear about my new MELD score, my transplant coordinator told me it will go up due to my labs being so messed up. They told me about the new treatment but I'm not able to take it due to my platelets being to low. Maybe I'll luck out and they will change their minds and let me try it. I feel like i'm losing my mind at times, sometimes I'm just forgetful and cant concentrate and others Oh well what can I say , I really act cooky to put it nicely. My coordinator mentioned encepalapathy but my ammonia levels were normal so I'm confused, I guess I'll find out more next mo. Of course when I'm acting crazy I dont realize it until I become lucid again. I still have to laugh at myself for arguing about the bank giving me to much money, you really had to be there to see the humor in it. Of course when I was some what normal and realized how I didnt have my wits I got quite upset and tried to explain to my hubby and daughter that they need to educate themselves about this and be there for me and get me to a hosp. I guess I should give them med. power of attorney just in case I get like that again. If I ever dont make sense on what I'm trying to say or misspell words plz forgive me and also would appreciate someone telling me that something might be wrong. I really did miss talking to you all.
