dad stable so far

I just wanted to post an update on my dad, so far he has been staying stable for the most part, though lately he has been very tired, the DRS have had to take him off all sleeping meds since they were lingering with him for days, so that is his major problem trying to get good sleep, other then that he has been doing pretty well. I think his Ammonia level may have been alittle elevated yesterday he started having the shakes allitle bit, so we gave him another dose of the Lactulose and that seemed to help. Still I think the hardest thing is learning to take one day at a time. One question I did have was each time a person is addmited into the hospital for high Ammonia levels, and Encephalopathy, or fluid build up issues does this make your prognosis for the future worse, or not necessarily.

The Gastro doc has said at this time he should not even think about Liver transplant and his meld score was 11 about a month ago.
