Had my one month tips check done this morning by the interventional radiologist. The portal vein looked good except for some residue from the old clot. They used a balloon device to clean that up. My gastric veins have shrunk markedly since the shunt was put in. He wants me to come back again in a month to make sure everything continues to look good. They want my portal vein ready when I qualify for transplant.
