Possibility of getting hepatitis b after successfull vaccination

Hi All,

One of my close friend has completed Hepatities B vaccination.

After 3 months of vaccination he did Anti-HBSAg Antibody test and result was 337 mIU/ml (Positive).

I want to know what are his chances of getting hepatites B? Specially if he made sexual relation with someone who already has hepatitis B. Please help. Thanks in advance

He could've become infected if he was not yet through with his hep B vaccinations when he became sexually involved with someone with active hep B. However, his HBV antibody would also render a positive reading from the vaccinations. Doesn't mean he actively has it, but that he does have the antibody for it and will always test positive.
