As some of you are aware, I'm fighting a new battle (Read my thread "MRI was not good" if you're in the dark.)  I will not be able to be online as much as I have been.

So I'm asking for the help of all the regulars who are on here most days.  If you see a new person post, or someone who has posted before but seems to need a question answered or is distressed, PLEASE, PLEASE answer them.  For a new poster, just giving a "hi and welcome" is sufficient.  It just breaks my heart to think of a brand-new member, posting for the first time (which takes great courage), who then receives no answer for many hours.  They are going to wonder if they posted wrong or if nobody really cares.

I appreciate your prayers regarding my problem, but this would be a huge help to me (and PG and Dany) if you could be alert especially to new members.  SadWife, thanks for jumping in there today for our new member!

I will be around, too! Connie, you take care of you! Praying for you every day. And, by the way, if Rick behaves, I will certainly be very concerned about him! LOL!

It is typical of you Connie, in your darkest hour you are thinking of others in their situations above and beyond yours. You are such a caring person and having you there when I first sent my first thread was so comforting. I hope that everything travels in your favour. You are a very strong and determined woman and know whereever we all are in the world we are all batting for you xxx

I want to thank everyone also. You guys are great. Dany and myself both work full time, plus I commute for 2 hours a day. Not sure if how long Dany's drive it but it's probably near mine or more with her living in southern CA. I can only go online at work, (and not at my desk) on my breaks and lunch hour as my company is a stickler about things like that. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know a whole lot about this disease, but what I do know, I will share. I will also be there for support, if thats all I can do. Prayers are with you Connie!!!

I will certainly keep you in my prayers.

I have learned more about my wife's illness from this group than I have ever learned from her doctors. She just remarked a couple of weeks ago after a doctor's visit  that I "ask tough questions." My reply was that I know enough about her disease now to ask specific questions and be her advocate.

Even though I haven't posted a lot in the past due to the nature of my job and other commitments,  I will try my best to welcome any new member.

Thanks to everyone for being so supportive and jumping in to help.  As PG said, I live in So. Cal. and my commute is silmilar to hers....roughly 45-55 min each way.  Full time job and every other weekend at a 2nd one.  Single mom and I do volunteer work for American Liver Foundation and the American Cancer Society...not to mention trying to have a life (boyfriend and his daughter live with us too)...so it's busy, as many are!

This is such a wonderful group of people and I'm very happy I found this group. 

Connie, everyone loves you and will help as much as possible!

Just a reminder to everyone that I will be at Mayo tomorrow for a brain scan and don't expect to get home before 6:30.  Those of you who have promised to help out, please do so if you are able.  It will be much appreciated by all the moderators.
